When Mijain Lopez and Yaime Perez entered the Tokyo Olympic Stadium, the Cuban flag was flying beautifully over them. Both paraded in front of a small representation of Cuban athletes, the only ones allowed at the Olympic Stadium in order to avoid crowds and infections.

This noon, it was officially announced the Cuban Baseball Team that will seek its qualification for Tokyo´20 at the Florida Pre-Olympic Tournament, which will take place from May 31st to June 5th. It was also reported that the Cuban baseball players still do not have the required visas to travel to the United States.
