Quinteto Criollo & Ernestina Trimino honored on the 25 years in defense of the Cuban music

In order to recognize the merit for the past 25 years in defense of the traditional values of the Cuban music, the status of Distinguished Personality was awarded to the lead vocalist of El Quinteto Criollo, Ernestina Trimino, while the Coat of Arms of Villa Clara was awarded to this renowned musical group.

The tribute was attended by the president of the Provincial Defense Council, Yuri Rodriguez Hernandez and its vice-president, Alberto Lopez Diaz.

Previously, the Confederation of Cuban Workers also gave a special recognition to El Quinteto Criollo & Ernestina Trimino as part of the celebration for May Day.
